Setting up the Tripod

Remove the leg holder.
The leg holder cord automatically
returns back inside the leg.

Spread the tripod legs outward and
push down the stay.
If unnecessary force is exerted on the
stay, it may be damaged.

Loosen the lock screws to adjust the
length of the stays, then tighten the lock
screws.
Use the scales on the stays to adjust the
length.

Loosen the leg lock lever, adjust the
length of the leg then tighten the leg lock
lever to LOCK position.
Do with the upper leg lock levers first,
then the lower ones.

Loosen the ball level lock knob slightly
and set the platform so that the bubble
inside the level is within the red circle.
Then tighten the ball level lock knob.
Do this setting before attaching the
video camera.
To use the spike
Remove the rubber guard from the spike. If
the spike may damage the floor, do not use
it.
Adjusting the pan handle
position

Adjust to position, then tighten the lever.

When possible, adjust the pan handle so
that it is parallel with the camera plate.

Rotate the pan handle attachment plate
