Fixing the Panning/
Tilting Positions

Loosen the pan lock lever and tilt lock
lever.

Adjust the position of the video camera
by moving the pan-handle.

Tighten the pan lock lever and tilt lock
lever.
Note
Do not use the pan lock lever or tilt lock
lever to adjust panning or tilting resistance.

Doing so may cause damage. Be sure to
loosen the lock lever before panning or
tilting the video camera.
Using the Remote
Commander
See illustration E
Refer to the operation manual of the video
camera for further information.
Recording

Turn on the video camera and set it to
standby mode.

Connect the remote plug to the l LANC
remote control jack of the video camera.

Slide the standby switch b to
"STANDBY" until it clicks.

Press START/STOP c to start
recording.
To stop recording
Press START/STOP.
To resume recording, press it again.
Zooming
Move the zoom lever d towards T side for
telephoto (subject appears closer), and W
side for wide-angle (subject appears farther
away). With some video cameras, you can
zoom at high speed by moving the zoom
lever further towards T or W side.
When you finish recording
Be sure to slide the standby switch to
"LOCK" until it clicks.
When you do not use the Remote
Commander
Attach the remote plug into the remote
plug holder a.
