General
In order to achieve a good measuring quality, the installation location should be free of
vibrations. Building vibrations, in particular in the frequency range from 8 to 12 Hz, can
influence the measured signal.
Check using the technical specifications that your device is suitable for the measuring task.
Feeding of gases with flammable components
A device in the standard version must not be operated in hazardous areas. The supply of
gases with flammable components at concentrations above the lower explosion limit (LEL)
may only be carried out in devices with pipes.
Severe physical injury if leakage of toxic and/or corrosive gases occurs
Regularly carry out a leak test appropriate to the measuring task.
Leakage of toxic or aggressive gases and gases that can result in explosive mixtures
When gases are being measured, leaks in the gas path can cause the sample gas to
accumulate in the device. To prevent the risk of poisoning or of damage to device parts,
purge the device with inert gas (e.g. nitrogen). This prevents the risk of poisoning or
damage to device parts. The gas displaced by purging must be collected using appropriate
equipment and routed for environmentally-friendly disposal via an exhaust line.
OXYMAT 7
Due to its functional principles, the analyzer module emits magnetic stray fields. Therefore,
do not operate magnetically sensitive devices in the immediate vicinity of the analyzer
module. Depending on the sensitivity, a distance of up to 50 cm from the analyzer module is
required.
