5 . Necessary supplementary parts
The compatibility between the load arrester and the connecting eye of the load has to be warranted .
For the connecting with anchorage point you have to use a proper shackle or a proper steel rope-loop with
shackle or snap hook regarding to DIN EN 362:2008-9 .
At all types of device additional fall indicators are attached . Examine before each use/installation whether these
were not released yet
Generally applies: after a crash the equipment MUST go for inspection .

6 . Proper application / Operations
General Information
Check fall arrester for loads for defects before each putting into operations
( e .g . improper winding off or up, slack line) .
Only use necessary supplementary parts aloud by manufacturer or security management .
The user has to get training, of correct anchorage, storage and identify damages in front of the first using and an
annual refresh .
Take care that the rope is tight all the time . Do not give load on the rope when it is completely out of the load
arrester .
Do not expose the load arrester to aggressive substance or aggressive atmosphere . Exclude all possibility of
extreme dust .
