FITTING THE CERAMIC FUEL EFFECT BED
For models NOT ending in VA
1. Supplied with this kit there is a replacement
ceramic support bracket for the rear of the
firebox.
2. Remove the rear ceramic wall from the firebox.
To do this slide the rear wall upward. Be
careful not to damage the rear ceramic wall.
3. Remove the rear ceramic support bracket from
the firebox. To do this unscrew and remove the
two self tapping screws from the bracket.
4. Fit the replacement ceramic support bracket
and secure using the two screws removed
previously (See figure 1)
5. Fit the ceramic rear wall into the bracket
at the back of the firebox .See figure 1.
For all models
6. Place the rear base coal in the firebox. It
should rest on the ledges at the sides and
back of the firebox and its rear face should
touch the rear ceramic wall. See figure 2.
7. Place the front base coal in the firebox
with its bottom front locating over the
front rim of the firebox. Pull the coal forward
so that it locates immediately behind the front
rim of the firebox. See figure 3.
