Operating Instructions mifare/DESFire EV1 reader "Accentic" with/without keypad
1.

General

The mifare/DESFire EV1 readers "Accentic" are used as contactless readers and operating units in
access control and intrusion detection systems.
A combination of transponder and PIN can be used for performing functions via the keypad.
Additional functions (e.g. switching and control functions/macros) that can be activated via the
reader keypad can be defined in the programming of the control panel/evaluation unit.
Optical and acoustical acknowledgement is possible.
The housing faceplate can be changed subsequently (various colors are available).

Data carriers

2.1
Usable data carriers
Storage media are referred to as ID data carriers on which authorization data are saved. ID data
carriers are available in different geometrical shapes.
Only mifare cards and keychains can be used as data carriers.
To be able to use the encryption AES, mifare DESFire EV1 data carriers are needed.
For further information, refer to our current catalog.
The previous mifare classic data carrier can only be used parallel to EV1 data carriers if the
encryption AES is unused!

affecting the read process, ensure that the
desired data carrier is held separately, if
