Note: All models do not have a button for remote
extension of the trimmer line.
1. Remove the control handle.
2. Remove the power trigger lockout and power trigger.
To disassemble the power trigger lockout
Refer to
and power trigger on page 19 .
3. Remove and disconnect the user interface.
4. Disconnect the button for remote extension of the
trimmer line.
5. Remove the screw and the button for remote
extension of the trimmer line.
6. Pull out the connector from the control handle.

5.2.5.4 To install the button for remote extension of the
trimmer line
Note: All models do not have a button for remote
extension of the trimmer line.
1. Pull the connector through the hole in the control
handle.
2. Attach the button for remote extension of the
trimmer line with the screw.
3. Attach the connector of the button for remote
extension of the trimmer line. Put the wires around
the screw boss.
4. Assemble the power trigger and power trigger
To assemble the power trigger and
lockout. Refer to
power trigger lockout on page 19 .
5. Assemble the control handle. Refer to
disassemble and assemble the control handle on
page 19 .
