MULTIPLEXER’S MENU NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 multiplexers have a multilevel menu displayed on the screen that is used for programming multiplexer’s settings as well as controlling recording and playback function. The menu for 9- and 16– channel devices differs in some aspects only, so there are 9 or 16 channels, alarm inputs etc.

    MULTIPLEXER’S MENU 3.5 Audio Setup NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 multiplexers allow users to record 4 audio channels at all image recording speeds. The signal is recorded at the speed of 8kB/s. Input signal should come from a dynamic microphone (i.e. microphone installed in a camera).

The settings are copied in the form of a catalogue onto a memory carrier connected to the USB port.

    Parameters connected with the cooperation of the multiplexer and system keyboard are set in this menu. NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 multiplexers can be remotely controlled only from the level of the NV-KBD60 or NV-KBD30 system keyboards. Due to the use of RS-422 interface, remote control room can be placed even up to 1200 meters from the multiplexer.

    6.2 Recordings Backup onto Swappable Disk. NV-DVR3009 and NV-DVR3016 allow users to backup recordings onto a swappable disk. In order for the user to be able to backup recordings onto a swappable disk it has to be set to Copy mode (see chapter 3.7.2).

It is done during playback. In order to select the range of material to be copied start playback and press INDEX IN on the front panel at the moment the part of the material you are interested in starts to be played back.

    NV-DVR3009 / NV-DVR3016 ver. 1.1 - User’s manual BACKUP 6.3 Recordings Backup onto External Disk via USB Port It is possible to backup recordings onto an external HDD connected via USB port. Backup files can be played back on the multiplexer or a computer by means of N-Viewer 3000 software.

If you wan to copy recordings in this way make sure that this disk is set as copy-disk in the multiplexer’s menu.
