ADVANCING THE TRIMMING LINE
• Lower the rotation speed of the string trimmer by
gradually releasing tension on the trigger.
• When the rotation speed is low, bump the spool
cap on the ground to extend the line.
• Press down on the trigger to increase the rotation
speed and continue trimming.
WARNING:

The trimmer is equipped with a line trimming cut-
off blade on the grass deflector. Replace the string
when trimming efficiency diminishes. This will
maintain best performance.

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible to damage from
various types of commercial solvents and may be
damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove
dirt, dust, lubricant, grease, etc.
WARNING:
fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products,
penetrating lubricants, etc., come in contact with
plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken
or destroy plastic which may result in serious
personal injury.
You can often make adjustments and repairs
described here. For other repairs, have the power
head serviced by an authorized service dealer.
