About the Time Shift Buffer
Once you turn on the recorder, the selected TV
programme will be stored in a temporary hard disk
storage called Time Shift Buffer 'TSB'. The 'TSB' can
store up to 10 hours of programmes temporarily in
Standard Play (SP) mode.
Press DISPLAY to display the Time Shift video bar.

Note:
- The contents in the time shift video bar will be
cleared when you press 2, USB, TIMER or REC LIST.

Start recording

Record from TV or an external
device
To record a TV programme,
Press 0 - 9 to select the preset channel to record.
Note If you have used Option B in 'Basic
Connection', press SOURCE repeatedly to select
'CVBS'. Use the remote control of your cable box to
select the TV programme to record.
To record from a connected device,
press SOURCE repeatedly to select the video
source to record (CVBS or YPbPr).

Press to start recording. Press again to extend
the recording time.

To end recording, press .

To playback the recording, press REC LIST, use
keys to select the title and press u .

Insert the USB device to the USB socket, then press
USB. OR, if a confirmation screen is displayed, select
[ Confirm ] to view the USB contents menu.
Note:
- This recorder supports USB devices which conform
to the USB Mass Storage Device class standard.
To play from media files
Press HOME, then select [ Media Files ], then
press OK.
