Wi-Fi ON/OFF (Access Point mode only)
You can enable or disable the Wi-Fi function for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks here. To do so, click
on the ON or OFF button. Please note that wireless access to the dual-band Wi-Fi range extender is no
longer possible if it is disabled. Connect the dual-band Wi-Fi range extender via a network cable to your
computer in order to regain access to the dual-band Wi-Fi range extender.
Hide SSID
You can hide the wireless 2.4G and 5G networks here. To do so, click on the ON or OFF button.
Please note that the SSID is no longer visible with the ON option and is no longer found by external
wireless devices.
2.4G SSID / 5G/AC SSID
You can change the SSID (Wi-Fi name) of the dual-band Wi-Fi range extender for the 2.4GHz and
5GHz networks here. The SSID of the router is specified here in Repeater mode.
Security type
Set an encryption for the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks here.
We recommend that you use WPA/WPA2 encryption because it provides maximum
security. If your wireless devices do not support WPA/WPA2 encryption, you have to
use other encryption.
