Black & Decker batteries can be recharged many
times. At the end of their useful life, discard
batteries with due care for our environment.

Unlock the tabs (10) holding the battery cover in place.
Remove the housing (11) from the back end.
Remove the battery.
Place the battery in a suitable packaging to ensure that
the terminals cannot be short-circuited.
