    NDERSTANDING THE he AutoLock™ feature receives and processes data sent by broadcasters or other program providers that contain pro- gram content advisories. When programmed by the viewer, a TV with AutoLock™ can respond to the content advisories and block program content that may be found objection- able (such as offensive language, violence, sexual situations, etc.).

    utoLock allows parents to block out or “censor” any channels they think children should not watch. A channel blocked by the AutoLock control cannot be viewed until a cor- rect access code is used to unlock the channel for viewing. First, let’s set your AutoLock access code.

    EMOTE ONTROL hen using the TV remote control with an external accessory device, first make certain the proper mode is selected and the remote has been programmed to control the device (see pages 30-31). Press the SELECT button repeatedly to highlight the proper accessory mode (VCR, DVD, SAT, AMP, or ACC).

    No Power • Check the TV power cord. Unplug the TV, wait 10 seconds, then reinsert the plug into the outlet and push the POWER button again. • Check that the outlet is not on a wall switch. • Be sure the fuse is not blown on the AC power strip, if one is being used.

    WARNING Concerning Stationary Images on the TV Screen: Do not leave stationary or letterbox images on screen for extended periods of time. This can cause uneven picture- tube aging. Normal use of the TV should involve the showing of pictures that contain constantly moving and changing images that fill the screen.
