Warning:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, the power cord must be
disconnected before changing the bag or filter, or performing
maintenance/trouble shooting checks.
Suggestion: When vacuuming new carpets or carpets with fine powders on them, the powder
may clog the dust bag, therefore, check the bag more often.
When the "dust bag full" indicator becomes red, the dust bag should be replaced.
1. Open the bag compartment cover by putting your hand under the cover and
lifting it. (See Fig. 1)
2. Pull back the plastic tabs (A) towards you. This will lift the Hooks (B).
(Fig. 2 & Fig. 3)
3. Remove the old dust bag.
4. Insert the new dust bag into its slot.
5. Push the tabs away from you, making sure that the "Hooks" hold the
cardboard in its place.
• Make sure that the cardboard base of the bag is all the way inside the slot.
• Make sure that the dust bag does not prevent the cardboard from being all
the way in its place.
• If the bag is not inserted in its place correctly, the dust bag compartment
cover will not close.
Note
: The bag compartment cover will NOT close if no bag is installed in the
vacuum cleaner.
