NOTE
To ensure proper refrigerant flow and balance:
• Double valve LEV Assemblies must be installed with LEV in horizontal position (i.e. LEV
valve heads oriented in upright position). Do not install double valve LEV Assemblies
with LEV in vertical, side or upside down position.

6.3 Thermistor installation

CAUTION
When installing the thermistors on the AHU coil piping, make sure that the thermistor and
pipe make good contact and the most sensitive part of the thermistor is touching the pipe
as shown in Figure 6.3.1. This will ensure that the pipe temperature measurement is as
accurate as possible.
CAUTION
Put the thermistor wire slightly down, as shown in Figure 6.3.1, to avoid water
accumulation on top of the thermistor.

6.3.1 Thermistor for gas pipe

• Place the thermistor as close as possible to the branch pipe that is located the closest to the gas pipe
(header) connection on the evaporator (field supply).
• Turn the lead wire of the thermistor downward.
• Wrap aluminum tape (field supply) around the header to fix the thermistor.Wrap insulation material (field
supply) over the aluminum tape.
