    Notes on moisture condensation Moisture condensation damages the unit. Please read the following carefully. Moisture condensation occurs, for example, when you pour a cold drink into a glass on a warm day. Drops of water form on the outside of the glass. In the same way, moisture may condense on the optical pick-up lens inside this unit, one of the most crucial internal parts of the unit.

    Connections Chapter Connecting to an audio system You can enjoy the benefi ts of Dolby Digital Plus or Dolby TrueHD by connecting the HDMI output of your player to an AV receiver with an HDMI audio input. You can listen to down-converted Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD as well as Dolby Digital and DTS using a receiver with Dolby Digital and DTS decoding capabilities and an optical digital input.
