Opening and Closing the LCD Monitor

The LCD monitor on this camera is hinged at the
top so that it opens 180° upwards.
. Opening the LCD monitor
As shown in the illustration, place your fingertip at
the LCD monitor and lift it upwards so that it rotates and opens.
• The LCD monitor does not open from the top. Always open it from the bottom, as
shown in the illustration.
IMPORTANT!
• Opening the LCD monitor switches the camera on.
• When closing the LCD monitor, take care not to trap your finger in the top or bottom
of the LCD monitor.
• Do not press on the LCD monitor with excessive force. Doing so could damage the
LCD monitor.
NOTE
• Close the LCD monitor when not using the camera.

edge of the LCD monitor and rotate it downwards so that
it closes.
