. GENERAL INFORMATION
TROUBLESHOOTING (XCITING 250 AFI)
ENGINE WILL NOT START OR IS HARD TO START
Inspection/Adjustment
1. Make sure engine stop switch
is ON.
2. Put the side stand up.
3. Connect the diagnostic tool,
then check EMS and correct
problems.
Remove spark plug and
install it into spark plug
cap to test spark by
connecting it to engine
ground
Remove the fuel injector, start
the starter motor to check fuel
injector operation.
Test cylinder
