    Before Using for the First Time Boil a Kettle of water following the Operating Instructions below. Discard the water. Operating Instructions CAUTION: Do not immerse Power Base, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid. 1. Place Power Base on a level surface such as a countertop or table. The Power Base must be dry before use.

    10. To reheat water, check the water level to ensure it is above the .75L water level. If necessary, add more water, then place Kettle back onto Power Base. Be careful not to spill any water onto the Power Base. Press ON/OFF Lever down, into the ON (I) position.
