The section "Migrating an HMI project" mainly covers the steps after migration of the
WinCC flexible database that result from the changeover of the HMI device. In addition, it
shows how you implement the new features of the Comfort HMI devices in the WinCC
project:
– Changing the screen format from 4:3 to "Widescreen"
– Setting the address of the HMI device in WinCC
– Configuring and using the energy-saving functions
The section "Commissioning the HMI device" describes the revised or new procedures for
commissioning the Comfort HMI devices:
– Transferring the project
– Using the automatic backup
– Restarting the HMI device after malfunction
The section "Data transfer from STEP 7" then displays the options for transfer of
