Important safety instructions

SHOCK AND INJuRY ! Inspect the heating
pad carefully before every use to check for
signs of wear and / or damage. Do not use it if
you find wear or damage to the heating pad
itself, its control

Have the heating pad repaired
only by qualified specialist personnel using
original manufacturer parts only. This will en-
sure that the heating pad remains safe to use.
WARNING!
If the mains lead of the heating
pad is damaged, in order to avoid causing
further danger it must be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, his customer services centre or a
suitably qualified person.

C hildren or anyone lacking the knowledge or
experience to use the heating pad, or anyone
with restricted physical, sensory or mental ca-
pacities, must not use the heating pad without
supervision or instruction by a person responsi-
ble for their safety. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the heating
pad.

RISK OF INJuRY! Do not use this
heating pad for helpless persons, in-
fants or persons who are insensitive
to heat (e.g. diabetics, people with disease-related
changes to the skin or scarred skin in the area of
use, or after taking painrelieving medication or
consuming alcohol).

CAuTION! Take care that you do
not fall asleep while the heating
pad is in operation. Excessively long
use can cause skin burns.

D o not use the heating pad on any part of the
body that is inflamed, injured or swollen. Seek
medical advice before using the heating pad if
in doubt. Such inflammation, injuries and / or
swelling may otherwise worsen.

R epairs must only be carried out by specially
trained personnel or at a repair shop authorised
by the manufacturer, since special tools are
necessary. Improper repairs may result in con-
siderable dangers for the user.
Avoid damage to the
heating pad!

P lease make sure that you:
· only connect the heating pad to the voltage
indicated on the heating pad (label),
· only use the heating pad in conjunction with
the control
indicated on the heating pad

· do not operate the heating pad without
supervision,

do not switch the heating pad on if
it is folded or bunched up,
· do not cause any sharp creases in the heating
pad,
· do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or
washing basket, on the heating pad when it is
switched on,
· do not place any sources of heat, e.g. hot
water bottle or similar, on the heating pad
when it is switched on.
These may all damage the heating pad.

D o not cover the control
it on the heating pad when the pad is in opera-
tion. The electronic components in the control
of the heating pad cause the control
up slightly during operation.

D o not pull, twist or crease the cables.
