Safety system
Q
Note: the heating pad is equipped with a safety
system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the
entire surface of the heating pad from overheating
by automatically switching off in the event of a fault.
If the safety system switches the heating pad off
automatically due to a fault, then the function
indicator
on the control unit

minate, even if the heating pad is switched on.

P lease note that, for safety reasons, the heating
pad must not be used after a fault and must be
returned to the service address indicated.
Operation

Note: the heating pad may smell of plastic the
first time you use it, but this will disappear after a
short period of time.

P lace the heating pad in position as shown in
Fig. C. Join the two ends of the heating pad
together.

T o begin, first connect the control

Selecting the temperature:

J ust before using the heating pad, set it to the
highest temperature setting (setting 6). This will
cause the heating pad to warm up quickly.

I f you are going to use the heating pad for a
number of hours, set it to the lowest temperature
setting (setting 1).

Note: The heating pad switches itself off automati-
cally after about 90 minutes. The function indicator
then starts to flash.

T hen select the setting 0 and after about
5 seconds, reset the heating pad to the desired
temperature setting to switch it on again.

S witch the heating pad off (setting 0) and
pull the mains plug out of the mains socket if
the heating pad is not to be used after it has
switched itself off automatically.
