• Material shown on these drawings will be
fabricated only after formal approval by the
architect, receipt of approval hardware schedule,
and all necessary hardware templates.
• All frames shall be shipped "knocked-down"
unless otherwise specified.
• All frames and doors shall be chemically washed,
rinsed, and dried prior to receiving one coat of
paint.
• Doors and frames will be reinforced for surface
mounted hardware as required. Drilling and
tapping for surface mounted hardware shall be
applied by others.
• It will be the responsibility of the General
Contractor to coordinate hardware locations.
• All frames will be supplied with the required wall
and floor anchors as illustrated on the frame detail
sheet.
• All frames and doors wll be tagged with shop
marks. This schedule can be used to cross
reference shop marks with architects marks.
• These drawings are not intended for use by other
trades.
• Field welding, grinding, finishing, and attachment
of field splices by others.

• All standard type hardware will be located at this
manufacturer's standard locations as shown on
the door and frame elevations. Hardware items
such as panic exit devices, deadbolts, etc. will also
be located at manufacturer's standard locations
unless specifically advised.
• Installations of all glass and glazing to be
performed by others.
• Doors, frames, and finished hardware to be
installed by others.
• Anchor bolts and expansion shields for any type
fastener to be furnished by others.
• All frames must be set absolutely plumb, square,
and level.
• All frames will be supplied with rubber door
silencers: three for single swing openings and two
per header for double swing openings.
