Equipment Log

Use this equipment log form to record pertinent information about your disk array unit.
Be sure to update the equipment log when you add or remove components.
Record the model and serial numbers of the system components, dates of component
removal or replacement, and the name of the vendor from whom the component was
purchased.
Record the model and serial numbers of the disk array unit. The model and serial
numbers of the system unit are recorded on a label attached to the rear of the unit.
The location of serial numbers on hard disk drives varies from one manufacturer to
another. Literature accompanying these products should illustrate or describe the
location of model and serial numbers.
