Problem
Water is leaking.
(Appliance is leaking).
Appliance is unsteady
or vibrating strongly.
Spin cycle is not
running or is slow.
During the wash
cycle, no water can
be seen in the drum
through the glass
panel.
Door won't open after
the wash cycle has
finished.
The cycle duration
displayed is different
to the actual duration
of the cycle.
Malfunction
Possible causes
Inlet or outlet hose is not screwed
on tightly enough.
Lint trap not closed properly.
Transport security device(s)
wasn't/weren't removed.
Appliance was not installed or
aligned properly.
The laundry in the drum is heavy
or distributed unevenly.
The imbalance correction system
for imbalanced drum loads is
running.
This is not an error. The water is
at the bottom of the drum.
This is not an error. The opening
mechanism contains a safety
device that keeps the door closed
another 2 minutes or so after the
wash cycle has finished.
This is not an error. The cycle
duration is always adapted to the
circumstances and re-calculated.

Solutions, tips
Screw down inlet or outlet hose
down tighter.
Close lint trap properly (see page
GB-25).
Remove the transport safety
device(s) (see page GB-27).
Install or align appliance properly.
Suspend the wash cycle and re-
start it to distribute the laundry
more evenly.
No error. Once the laundry is
distributed evenly, the spin cycle
starts automatically.
Turn the cycle selector back to
the 'Off' position to switch off the
appliance. Wait a few minutes
and then open the door.
