NOTE: The audio jack board spare part kit does not include the audio jack board cable. The audio jack
board cable is available using spare part number L71959-001.

Description
Audio jack board
Before removing the audio jack board, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

1. Release the system board Mylar shield (1) that covers the audio jack board cable.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the audio jack board cable is connected, and then disconnect
the audio jack board cable from the system board.
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0×2.7 screw (3) that secures the audio jack board to the top cover.
