    Gleitschirmfliegen konzipiert und erfüllt die Anforderungen selbst der anspruchsvollsten Piloten die mit einer leichteren und kompakteren Gleitschirmausrüstung reisen wollen. Das CULT-C eignet sich für fast alle Piloten – vom Einsteiger über den Freizeitpiloten, mit nur geringer Flugerfahrung bis hin zum engagierten Streckenpiloten. Das CULT-C kann mit allen Gleitschirmen geflogen werden, solange der Gleitschirmhersteller deines Schirms kein spe- zielles Gurtzeug vorschreibt.

    DeS cUlt-c Das CULT-C wurde nach EN und LTF 09 zertifiziert und ist in den Größen XS, S, M und L erhältlich. Größe Pilot Körpergröße (cm) unter 165 160~175 170~185 über 185 Gewicht (Kg) inkl. Alukarabiner Staudruck für den rückenschutz (ersatz für den Protektor) Das CULT-C ist ein Gurtzeug mit eingebautem Staudruck-Protektor.

    2 Umlenkrollen am CULT-C unverdreht und freigängig durchzuführen. zUSaMMenBaU Zusammen mit deinem Händler wird das CULT-C eingestellt und überprüft. Insbesonde- re muss - wie weiter oben erwähnt - bei Erstinstallation des Rettungsgerätes eine Kom- patibilitätsprüfung vorgenommen werden. Die Grundeinstellung nimmst du dann selbst in einem Gurtzeugsimulator sitzend vor.

Bei der Installation des Rettungsgerätes ins CULT-C muss besonders darauf geach- tet werden, dass die Einschlaufung des Auslösegriffs am Innencontainer am seitlichen Loop erfolgt und nicht in der Mitte. Stelle beim Einbau der Rettung in das Gurtzeug si- cher, dass der Auslösegriff möglichst weit oben am Sitzbrett angebracht wird.

  • Page 14 Im Inneren des Rettungsschirmcontainers findest du eine rote Bahn. Diese kann über ein Klettband-System so verstellt werden, dass das Volumen des Rettungsschirmcon- tainers entweder für eine Rettung normaler Größe, wie die skywalk PEPPER oder für ein kleines Rettungsgerät wie die skywalk PEPPER light passt.

    Das CULT-C sollte genau auf dich eingestellt sein, um deinen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden und ein einfaches Hineinsetzen ins Gurtzeug nach dem Start zu ermöglichen. Die Einstellungen sollten vor dem ersten Flug in einem Gurtzeugsimulator sitzend vorge- nommen werden und hängen vom Körperbau und den persönlichen Vorlieben sowie dem Flugstil ab.
  • Page 16 Brustgurt Die Einstellung des Brustgurtes bestimmt den Abstand der Karabiner zueinander und hat Einfluss auf Handling und Stabilität des Gleitschirms. Größerer Abstand verstärkt das Feedback, das der Gleitschirm gibt und erleichtert das Steuern mit Gewichtsverla- gerung. Ein Anziehen des Brustgurtes gibt dir ein stabileres Gefühl in Turbulenzen, er- höht aber gleichzeitig die Gefahr einer stabilen Spirale und ebenfalls die Twistgefahr nach Klappern.

    Einlässe offen sind, sodass die Luft ungehindert in die Kammern im Rückenteil des CULT-C fließen kann. Wenn du Ausrüstungsgegenstände im Rückenteil des CULT-C verstauen willst, dann lege sie in die äußere Hülle oder in die Netztaschen, sodass sie die Funktion des Staudruck-Protektors nicht beeinträchtigen können.

    DaS FlIeGen MIt DeM cUlt-c vorflugcheck Um maximale Sicherheit zu haben ist es das Beste beim Vorflugcheck immer der glei- chen Routine zu folgen. checke, dass: > Keine sichtbaren Beschädigungen, die die Lufttüchtigkeit beeinträchtigen könnten, am Gurtzeug oder den Karabinern vorhanden sind.

    Das CULT-C wird nicht als Gurtzeug zum Tandemfliegen empfohlen. Sicherheitstraining und Fliegen über Wasser Es wird nicht empfohlen das CULT-C für Flüge über Wasser oder für Sicherheitstrainings zu verwenden. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass der Staudruck-Protektor des Gurtzeugs den Piloten nach einer Wasserlandung unter Wasser drücken könnte. Deshalb: Vorsicht beim Fliegen über Wasser!

    WartUnG, PFleGe UnD reParatUren Die Materialien, die beim CULT-C verwendet werden, garantieren maximale Haltbarkeit. Trotzdem solltest du dich bemühen dein Gurtzeug sauber zu halten und zu schonen, um seine Lufttüchtigkeit möglichst lange zu erhalten. Wartung und Pflege Vermeide es dein Gurtzeug über steinigen Untergrund zu ziehen und versuche immer aufrecht stehend zu landen.
  • Page 22 Man geht dabei folgendermaßen vor: > Überprüfe alle Gurtbänder und Schnallen auf Verschleiß und Beschädigungen, beson- ders an den Stellen, die schwer zugänglich sind, wie z. B. die Innenseiten der Hauptaufhängung. > Alle Nähte müssen überprüft werden und im Zweifelsfall nachgebessert werden, da- mit sich das Problem nicht ausweitet.

    IntrODUctIOn cUlt-c The CULT-C was designed by the skywalk development team and fulfills the athletic requirements. The CULT-C was used during test flights by skywalk test pilots with new paraglider prototypes and is recommended for hobby pilots to expert cross country pilots.
  • Page 35 Shoulder Lateral straps Straps Leg straps Speedsystem The leg- and chest-straps to- gether form a so- called “Get-Up- Sy- stem”. This prevents the pilot from falling out of the harness if he/she forgets to close one of the leg straps. The rescue, placed under the seat board (the handle is located on the right side) offers the ad- vantage of providing clear sightlines forward and downward, and offers additional protection in the case of a hard landing.

  • Page 37: Preparation For Flying

    PreParatIOn FOr FlyInG The CULT-C should be adjusted and tested together with your dealer. In particular – as mentioned below – a compatibility test must be completed after the initial installation. You can then do the basic adjustment while sitting in the harness simulator.
  • Page 38 The CULT-C can be combined with most of the rescues currently on the market. The in- itial installation of the rescue must be tested by a certified compatibility controller. This procedure tests the function of the rescue activation and certifies the compatibilty ac- cording to the rescue testing and packing documentation.
  • Page 39 different body types and strengths can influence activation. Before the installation, it should be checked if the rescue must be repacked. Packing interval is normally every six months, according to the operating instructions of the rescue. All of the required con- nection parts e.g.shackles must be on hand.

  • Page 42: Adjustment Of Rescue Container Volume

    aDjUStMent OF reScUe cOntaIner vOlUMe There is a red panel inside the rescue container. This has a velcro system to adjust the volume of container to fit a normal sized rescue, e.g. the PEPPER light. Before you fit the small rescue into the container, firstly detach the bottom edge of the red flap inside the container and fasten it using the velcro in its outer position, decreas- ing the internal volume of the container.

    The CULT-C should be adjusted to suit your physique and flying style. It is important to adjust it correctly to ensure you can easily slide into the sitting position after take off. Adjustments should ideally be tested in a simulator before your first flight.
  • Page 44 chest Strap The adjustment of the chest strap controls the distance between the carabiners and affects the handling and stability of the glider. Widening the distance between the cara- biners increases feedback from the wing and allows for easier weight shift. Tightening the strap gives you a more stable feeling in turbulence but increases the risk of stable spiral and also the risk of twisting!     StOraGe One of the special features of CULT-C is that it is designed to function as an airbag. Air is scooped into the airbag chambers through a channel on the side of the harness. Pilots should make sure that this channel and the airways are open in harness mode and that air is free to flow through and into the air chambers in the back of CULT-C If you want to store items inside the back of the harness, stow them in the bag’s top...

    FlyInG WItH tHe cUlt-c Pre-flight checks For maximum safety, use a complete and consistent system of pre-flight checks and repeat the same mental sequence before every flight. check that: > There is no visible damage to the harness or carabiners that could affect its airwor- thiness.
  • Page 48 The CULT-C is not equipped with an extra system for towing. The tow release can be connected to the main carabiners. The best way to attach a tow release is to use a tow- ing adapter, which slides over the lower ends of the risers of the paraglider before at- taching the main carabiners.
  • Page 49 MaIntenance anD rePaIr The materials used in the CULT-C have been carefully selected for maximum durability. Nevertheless, keeping your harness clean and airworthy will ensure a long period of continuous safe operation. Maintenance Avoid dragging your harness over rough or rocky ground. Unnecessary exposure to UV rays, heat and humidity should be always avoided.
