Loading User Gamma for Viewfinder

You can load a CSV file that defines user gamma, stored on a
USB drive, into the camera.

Create a CSV file.
Enter the name of the gamma curve on line 1, and the
values of the gamma curve starting from line 2.
Enter each gamma curve value as an input value and
output value separated by a comma. 100% is indicated as
1.0, and 1000% is indicated as 10.0.
Example CSV file:

Save the CSV file with the file name
“4KVF_gamma.csv” in the root directory of a USB
drive.

Connect the USB drive to the USB connector of the
unit.

Open the VF OUT2 page of the OPERATION menu,
and select GAMMA >LOAD USER GAMMA.
Setting the Camera
Outputs
You can specify the video signals directly output from the
camera on the <SDI OUT> page of the menu.
The <SDI OUT> page of the menu has been registered in the
USER menu at the factory.
Set the <SDI OUT> page as shown in the following tables.
For details about menu operations and the USER menu, see
“Menu Operations” (page 20).
Outputting an SDR signal that is output from a
camera control unit
The same textual information as that displayed on the
viewfinder screen can be added to the output signal by setting
CHARACTER to “ON” on the <SDI OUT> page.

Constantly outputting a return video
• When a camera control unit is connected, one of the signals
being supplied to the camera control unit can be output from
the camera.
• The last selected return signal is output.
• The same textual information as that displayed on the
viewfinder screen can be added to the output signal by
setting CHARACTER to “ON” on the <SDI OUT> page.

Outputting the same image as that on the
viewfinder screen
You can obtain a signal that includes the same information as
that being displayed on the viewfinder screen according to the
settings of the VF MARKER, CHARACTER, VF DETAIL,
ZEBRA, etc. The ON/OFF or other settings for adding
information are common to those for the viewfinder. The
output is synchronized with switching among Y, R, G, and B or
switching to a return signal.
PAINT menu functions (excluding WHITE and FLARE) and
the WHITE SHADING function are not applied to the
viewfinder image.
