1-1. Outline
The BKP-590 is a circuit board kit that enables Betacam
CCD color video cameras such as the BVP-90 and others
(excluding BVP-5/50) to be connected directly to the
CCU-700 series via the CA-57A/57AP.
Wide band transmission
The video bandwidth is extend to 10 MHz by increasing
the transmission bandwidth of the triax system.
NCS (New Command System) is supported
Owing the BKP-590, a conventional camera can be
connected to the new command system (used in the CCU-
700 series) which is employed in the Sony camera.
1-2. Installation

Before installing the BKP-590 to the CA-57A/57AP,
remove the triax cable from CCU connector so that the
BKP-590 is installed to the CA-57A/57AP with the triax
cable removed.

1. Loosen the four screws and remove the side panels
(left and right).

3. Remove the one screw and remove the shielding plate.
