- Page 7 Set Up Contents: Hydrant Buddy Tool, 2 Batteries, 1 Charger, 1 Socket, 1 Hex Wrench, 1 Grease Fitting, 3 Magnets and 1 Manual. Set Up: Variable Sized Pentagon Socket- Attach socket to 3/4” square drive output shaft and tighten set screw. Adjust socket size by turning threaded fastener after placing on the hydrant.

Operating Instructions Operation: Hydrants- 1. Place tool on hydran 2. Bew e of left or right hand thread before turning valve making sure reaction handle is pulling away from the operator. 3. Reset counter to z o *some hydrants have different amounts of rotation for full open. -

Maintenance Maintenance: Normal Maintenance is required to proper operation. There are many things you can do with this tool that could cause injury. Please use extreme caution and common sense when working with custom tools designed to torque. Although the tool has been used in many locations and conditions use the Hydrant Buddy in a safe defensive manner. -
