You hear no sound from the built-in speaker.

Headphones (not supplied) are connected to your IC recorder. Disconnect the headphones.
[Audio Output] for the FM radio function is set to [Headphones] with the OPTION menu (ICD-UX570F only).
Set [Audio Output] to [Speaker].
