applicable requirements.

All pedelec models have an eight-digit type number, which is used to specify the design
model year, the type of pedelec and the version. You can find further information in
Section 1.9.1.
The maximum continuous power is the maximum power for the electric motor output shaft
during 30 minutes.
The permitted total weight is the weight of the fully assembled pedelec with the rider and
baggage.
The year of manufacture is the year in which the pedelec was manufactured. The
production period is from August 2019 to July 2020.

The model year refers to the first production year that the series-manufactured pedelec
was produced in the version and is not always identical with the year of manufacture.
The year of manufacture may be before the model year in some cases. If no technical
modifications are introduced to the series, production may continue of pedelecs from a
previous model year.
The indicated weight for a ready-to-ride pedelec refers to the weight of a pedelec at the
time of sale. The weight of each additional accessory must be added to this weight.
Speed reached by the pedelec at the moment when the current has dropped to zero or to
the no load current value.
