The CM35 switches on the related direction output when a positioning proce-
dure starts. When the setpoint position is reached, the module switches off
the direction output again and triggers a hardware interrupt.
Setpoint position
Traversing direction
position in the forward direction
The positioning sequence is described below.
Þ Parameterize encoder resolution.
Þ Move axis to a position whose coordinate is known.
Þ Set actual value.
Þ Specify setpoint (in increments).
Þ Start axis with START command.
Ü Hardware interrupt indicates that setpoint position has been reached.
Ü Axis is switched off.
Þ STOP command concludes positioning of the axis.
Þ Specify new setpoint.
Þ Start axis with START command.
Ü Hardware interrupt shows that setpoint position has been reached.
Ü Axis is switched off.
Þ STOP command concludes positioning of the axis.
