NOTE
· To determine the direction of the paper curl, place the paper as shown below:
- 1-Sided copy: Place the side with the printed image face up.
- 2-Sided copy: Place the side that was printed first face up.
· Adjust the curl correction level in the direction opposite to that of the printed paper.

Adjusting the Gloss of a Custom Paper Type

You can adjust the glossiness of a custom paper type. The Gloss Adjustment mode enables you to adjust the
gloss on printed image by adjusting the temperature of the fixing assembly.
Depending on the paper type, if you change the setting value, the temperature of the fixing assembly may be
changed.
CAUTION
· The Gloss Adjustment mode is effective only when using coated paper.
· The Gloss Adjustment mode may not function correctly if you change its value abruptly. Make sure to change
the value in small increments.
IMPORTANT
Only user-registered paper types can be edited.
Adjustment Direction
Curl downward = Press [-].
Curl upward = Press [+].
