- Page 2 Shielded DataGate Jack INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Remove 100mm of cable sheath. Cut central separator back to sheath. 100mm Cut cellophane wrap back to sheath. Wrap foil around cable. Untwist - Max 6mm Wrap foil around cable Wrap drain wire around foil and tighten, leaving a length of drain wire available for wrapping around rear can cable clamp.

Fitting Can and Securing Cable (F/UTP) Slide the rear can over the front can. Ensure that the two halves are latched together securely.

- Page 5 Shielded DataGate Jack INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Fit stuffer cap after termination. Fiting Can and Securing Cable (S/FTP) Slide the rear can over the front can. Ensure that the two halves are latched together securely. Wrap braid around the metal cable collar to maintain shield continuity.
- Page 6 Shielded DataGate Jack INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS TERMINATED WITH U/FTP CABLE Preparation and termination (U/FTP) Slide plastic cable clamp and rear can on to cable. Remove 100mm of cable sheath. Remove 3 of the 4 foils from the cable pairs. Unwrap the foil from 1 pair in preparation for wrapping around the cable sheath.

Terminate the jack before inserting it in front can. Ensure that the cable sheath is maintained up to the connector.
