5. Remove the remnants of the foam pad from the system board.

RTC Battery

NOTICE:
Removing the RTC battery causes the computer to lose its date and time
settings, which are used to identify when files are created or modified. You must enter
the date and time settings after you replace the RTC battery.
NOTICE:
Disconnect the computer and any attached devices from electrical outlets, and
remove any installed batteries.
NOTICE:
To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by touching
an unpainted metal surface on the computer.
NOTICE:
