Installation
Fit in a cool dry well ventilated place , as
close to the battery bank as possible.
Connect the charger to a 230/110 volt a/c
supply using the enclosed cable.
Connect the d/c side of the charger to the
battery, ensure the red cable is connected
to the positive and the black cable to
negative battery terminal. In the event that
these cables are reversed the charger will
not start, however no harm will come to the
charger as it is protected against this fault
condition.

Installation
Betreiben Sie das Ladegerät an einem
kühlen, gut belüfteten Ort, so nah wie
möglich an der Batterie.
Verbinden Sie das Ladegerät mit Hilfe des
beiliegenden Anschlusskabels mit 230V
bzw. 110V Wechselspannung.
Verbinden Sie den Ladeausgang des
Gerätes mit Ihrer Batterie, so dass das rote
Kabel mit dem positiven Batteriepol und
das schwarze Kabel mit dem negativen
Batteriepol verbunden ist. Bei einem
versehentlichen Vertauschen der Kabel
nimmt das Gerät keinen Schaden, da es
gegen Verpolung geschützt ist.

For short term usage connect the batteries
using the enclosed crocodile clips. If the
charger is for a fixed installation it is strongly
recommended that the clip on terminals
be removed and replaced with 8 mm ring
terminals and connected directly to the
battery posts.
This charger can be left on all the time.
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE BATTERY
CHARGER IS SUITABLE FOR THE BATTERIES
YOU PROPOSE TO CHARGE.
THIS UNIT IS SUITABLE FOR OPEN LEAD ACID,
SEALED LEAD ACID, MOST GEL AND
CARBON FIBER BATTERIES.

möchten, empfehlen wir Ihnen, die
Krokodilklemmen gegen 8mm Ring-
Anschlussklemmen auszutauschen und
diese direkt mit den Batterieklemmen zu
verbinden.
Dieses Ladegerät kann ständig
eingeschaltet bleiben.

Operation:
Turn on the charger. (The power switch is on
the front resp. back of the unit.)
The front red l.e.d. will confirm there is
power going into the unit.
The l.c.d. (if fitted) or the needle meter will
show the charging of the battery.
The bi-colored l.e.d. will show orange for
high charge mode at first, then green for
float charge mode.
The battery is fully charged when the unit
l.e.d. turns from orange to green.
Betrieb:
Schalten Sie das Ladegerät ein. (Der
Netzschalter ist auf der Vorder- bzw.
Rückseite des Gerätes.)
Die rote LED auf der Vorderseite zeigt an,
dass das Gerät Strom aufnimmt.
Die LCD-Anzeige (falls vorhanden) oder das
Analoginstrument zeigt den Ladevorgang
an.
Eine weitere LED leuchtet während der
Hauptladung orange und während der
Erhaltungsladung grün.
Wenn diese LED von orange auf grün
umschaltet, ist die Batterie vollständig
geladen.
