Note: Switch off thermometer after use to save battery power. If you do not switch off
the thermometer, it switches off automatically: after 1 minute if the temperature
measured is <32°C; or after 10 minutes if the temperature measured is >32°C.
Measuring the temperature of older children
For older children and adults, the digital flexible-tip thermometer can also be used
to measure temperature orally (in the mouth) or axially (in the armpit).
Do not use the flexible-tip thermometer for oral temperature measurements
on babies.
If the thermometer has been used rectally or in the armpit without hygienic
covers, do not use it for oral measurement anymore for hygienic reasons, not
even after cleaning.

Features
last temperature recall
Both the soother thermometer and the digital flexible-tip thermometer have a
memory function. When the soother thermometer and the digital flexible-tip
thermometer are switched on, the display automatically shows the last measured
temperature for approx. 2 seconds. The display then shows the normal body
temperature of 37°C.
Battery-low indication
Both the soother thermometer and the digital, flexible-tip thermometer have a
long-life battery which should last for about 2 to 3 years. If the display shows a
battery symbol, the battery is low. Replace the battery of the flexible-tip
thermometer (see chapter 'Replacing the battery').
Note: The battery of the soother thermometer cannot be replaced. If the battery is
empty, discard the soother thermometer.
