5.3.4 Wipe cleaning

1. Disconnect the device from the mains power supply.
2. Clean the surface evenly with a suitable cloth and suitable cleaning agent, see
chapter "5.3.1 Overview" on page 26. Pay particular attention to areas which are
difficult to access.
» There is no more soiling visible.

5.3.5 Wipe disinfection

1. Disinfect the surface evenly with a suitable cloth and suitable disinfectant. Pay
particular attention to areas which are difficult to access.
2. Wait for the specified exposure time.

5.3.6 Spray disinfection

1. Disconnect the device from the mains power supply.
2. Spray the surface with a disinfectant spray.
3. Wait for the specified exposure time.
4. Allow the surface to dry.

5.4 Reprocessing the accessories

5.4.1 Replacing accessories

Single-patient secretion canister system

After a patient change, always replace the bacterial filter cartridge, suction hose/DDS
adapter and the single-patient secretion canister system.
Single-patient secretion canister system
• Empty the single-patient secretion canister system at least once a day and rinse it
thoroughly with clean water. If possible, clean it using a mild household washing-up
liquid and then rinse it off with clean water.
 Recommendation:
Before beginning suction, fill a little water (around 10 - 20 ml) into the single-patient
secretion canister system. This will prevent secretions from drying into crusts.
• You can boil the single-patient secretion canister system (max. cycles: 30 x).
• The single-patient secretion canister system is suitable for cleaning in dishwashers.
• After a patient change, always replace the single-patient canister system.
