6.3 Basic principles

As already explained in the "Construction and Function" chapter, the DL230
can be operated and programed using the control elements on the front
panel of the device.

Escape button
The calibration lock is located on the circuit board built into
the housing cover in the form of a button, and can be sealed
by means of an adhesive label. This button must be pressed
in order to adjust the values and parameters protected by
configuration regulations. For devices protected by
calibration regulations, this may solely be carried out by a
calibration officer.
