    CHANGING THE CHANNEL The SP-515 scans 25 channels (frequency pairs used between the base and the handset) and automatically selects a clear channel each time you make or receive a call. If you hear other conversations or excessive noise during a call, press on the handset to select a different channel.

    USING PAGE You can use the SP-515 as a pager between the base and the handset. This is useful if the handset is away from the base and you want to locate it, or if you want to page the person with the handset.
