    Using Your Phone’s Battery and Charger Battery Capacity Your Sprint PCS Phone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery. The standard battery provides up to 4.0 hours of continuous digital talk time. When the battery reaches 5% of its capacity, the battery icon blinks.
  • Page 40 Installing the Battery To install the Li-Ion battery: To install, insert the battery into the top of the opening at a 45-degree angle and gently press down until the battery snaps into place. Line up the tabs and slide the cover until it snaps into place.
  • Page 41 Removing the Battery To remove your battery: Make sure the power is off so that you don’t lose any stored numbers or messages. Gently slide the protective cover to reveal the battery. Push the release button located near the bottom of the battery.

    Entering Text Using Alpha(eZi) eZiTap is a predictive text input system that allows you to enter complete words using very few key strokes. When using the eZiTap text input system, upon pressing a few keys several words are displayed as possible matches to the word being entered.
