I need to interrupt a wash cycle, but when I advance the dial to “reset” and wait 5 seconds (or any length of time) the door does not unlock. Is thee another way to stop a wash or dry cycle?

If the door does not unlock after advancing the dial to "Reset," follow these steps:

1. Advance the Program Selector to “Reset” and wait 5 seconds. The ‘Status/Door Lock’ LED will blink quickly, indicating the cycle has stopped, but the door is still locked.
2. Advance the Program Selector to “Drain” (8 o’clock position) and allow the machine to drain completely.
3. Advance the Program Selector to “Reset” again. The ‘Status/Door Lock’ LED will blink quickly.
4. Wait 1–2 minutes until the LED blinks slowly. Then, the door can be opened.
