A variable is defined through the specification of a data type and a
variable name. The variable name can be used to address the value
of the variable.
In order to achieve an acceptable travel velocity in movements which
call for very small adjustments of position in a block, the control can ->
look ahead.
Words with a specific notation which have a defined meaning in the
programming language for -> parts programs.

The working storage is a Random Access Memory in the -> CPU
which the processor accesses as it executes the application
