Viewing the recording on TV
If your TV is already connected
to a VCR
Connect your camcorder to the LINE IN input on
the VCR by using the A/V connecting cable
supplied with your camcorder. Set the input
selector on the VCR to LINE.
If your TV is a monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting
cable to the video input jack and the white or the
red plug to the audio input jack on the TV. If you
connect the white plug, the sound is L (left)
signal. If you connect the red plug, the sound is R
(right) signal.
If your TV/VCR has a 21-pin
connector (EUROCONNECTOR)
Use the 21-pin adaptor supplied with your
camcorder.
If your TV has an S video jack
Connect using an S video cable (optional) to
obtain optimum quality screen images.
With this connection, you do not need to connect
the yellow (video) plug of the A/V connecting
cable. Connect an S video cable (optional) to the S
video jacks on both your camcorder and the TV.
To display the screen indicators on TV
Set DISPLAY to V-OUT/LCD in the menu
settings (p. 125). Then press DISPLAY on your
camcorder. To turn off the screen indicators,
press DISPLAY on your camcorder again.

videoweergave op TV
Als uw TV-toestel al is
aangesloten op een
videorecorder
Sluit uw camcorder aan op de lijningangen van
de videorecorder (LINE IN), met behulp van het
bij uw camcorder geleverde audio/video-
aansluitsnoer. Zet de ingangskeuzeschakelaar
van de videorecorder in de "LINE" stand.
Als uw TV-toestel slechts
geschikt is voor mono geluid
Sluit de gele stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer aan op de video-ingang en de witte
of de rode stekker op de audio-
ingangsaansluiting van uw TV-toestel. Als u de
witte stekker aansluit, zal het geluid van het
linker (L) kanaal klinken. Als u de rode stekker
aansluit, klinkt het geluid van het rechter (R)
kanaal.
Als uw TV/videorecorder een
21-polige (EUROCONNECTOR)
aansluiting heeft
Gebruik voor het aansluiten de bij uw camcorder
geleverde 21-polige verloopstekker.
Als uw TV-toestel beschikt over een S-video
ingangsaansluiting
Verricht de aansluiting met een (los verkrijgbaar)
S-video aansluitsnoer voor videoweergave van
uitstekende kwaliteit.
Bij deze wijze van aansluiten hoeft u de gele
(video) stekker van het audio/video-
aansluitsnoer niet aan te sluiten. Verbind het S-
video aansluitsnoer (los verkrijgbaar) met de S-
video stekkerbussen van de camcorder enerzijds
en uw TV-toestel anderzijds.
Schermaanduidingen tonen op het TV-scherm
In het instelmenu is DISPLAY op V-OUT/LCD
gezet (p. 130). Druk dan op DISPLAY op uw
camcorder. Druk nogmaals op DISPLAY om de
aanduidingen op uw camcorder te laten
verdwijnen.
