Identifying the parts and controls
To prepare the Remote Commander
Insert 2 R6 (size AA) batteries by matching the +
and – polarities on the batteries to the + – marks
inside the battery compartment.
Notes on the Remote Commander
•Point the remote sensor away from strong light
sources such as direct sunlight or overhead
lighting. Otherwise, the Remote Commander
may not function properly.
•Your camcorder works in the commander mode
VTR 2. The commander modes 1, 2 and 3 are
used to distinguish your camcorder from other
Sony VCRs to avoid unintentional operation. If
you use another Sony VCR in the commander
mode VTR 2, we recommend changing the
commander mode or covering the sensor of the
VCR with black paper.

Voorbereidingen voor
afstandsbediening
Plaats twee stuks R6 (AA-formaat) batterijen in
het batterijvak van de afstandsbediening, met de
+ en – polen in de richting die staat aangegeven
in het batterijvak.
Opmerkingen over de afstandsbediening
•Let voor afstandsbediening op, dat de sensor op
de camcorder niet blootgesteld staat aan directe
zonnestraling of fel licht. Anders kan de
afstandsbediening niet naar behoren
functioneren.
•Uw camcorder werkt in de bedieningsstand
VTR 2. De bedieningsstanden 1, 2 en 3 dienen
om uw camcorder te onderscheiden van andere
Sony videorecorders en bedieningsfouten te
voorkomen. Als u reeds een andere Sony
videorecorder met afstandsbedieningsstand
VTR 2 gebruikt, dan is het voor bediening van
deze camcorder aanbevolen om eerst de
bedieningsstand van de andere videorecorder
te veranderen, of de afstandsbedieningssensor
van dat apparaat met een stukje zwart papier af
te dekken.
