Available Frame Rate Setting Ranges
The frame rate you can set differs depending on the [Rec. File Format] and
[Rec Quality] settings.
[Rec. File Format]
[AVCHD]
[MOV]
¢1 When set to a 23.98p or 24.00p [Rec Quality], a frame rate exceeding 48 fps
cannot be set.
¢2 When [Image Area of Video] is set to [PIXEL/PIXEL], it is not possible to set to a
frame rate exceeding 60 fps.
When the [Rec. File Format] has been set to [MOV], you can filter to show just

the recording qualities where [Variable Frame Rate] can be used. (l 264)
We recommend using a tripod when recording images with [Variable Frame

Rate].
Focus mode switches to MF.

Audio will not be recorded during variable frame rate recording.

When set to a frame rate exceeding 60 fps, there may be some deterioration

in recording quality.
