The following symbols may also appear in the display in addition to the text:

Explanation
This symbol indicates the "Settings" menu and the
"Language" menu option.
This symbol indicates that there is additional information
and advice about using the coffee machine. Select OK to
confirm the information.
This symbol appears if the system lock is activated.
Operation is locked.
The symbol and the desired switching-on time appear in the
display 23:59 hours before the coffee machine is due to
switch on if the
Switch on at
the time are activated (see "Settings – Timer").
The TeaTimer minute minder has been started (see "Tea –
TeaTimer"). The remaining brewing time is shown next to the
symbol.
This symbol appears while the appliance is being descaled.
