    PROTECTION CIRCUITS Your amplifier is protected against both overheating and short circuits. Because of the “soft’ thermal protection (see the Design Features section on page 3) it is highly unlikely that the amplifier will shut off because of thermal overload. If your amplifier shuts down, turn off the system, wait for a few moments, and turn the system on again.
