Remove

solvent.
Rinse in
clean
solvent
and allow

dry.
Insp
ect
the
chai
n
for wea
r
(joint
sloppiness), stiffness
and
b inding
at the
join ts and broken
or
separated
ro
ller
s.
If
any of
these
conditions exist, the
chain shou
ld
be rep laced.
Also
inspect sprocket
teeth for wear.
Never install a
new
chain on badly
worn
sprockets
or
install
a badly worn
chain
o
n
new sprockets.

jelly-

leum
jel ly-and
heat
to
150°F
for
approximately
10
min
utes.
Then
remove
the pan
from
the heat
and carefully agitate
the
immersed
chai
n
with
a
screw
driver.
When cool,
re-
move
the
cha in, allo
win
g
it
to
hang
over
the pan
to
dra
in o
ff
excess
lubri
-
ca
nt.
Use a clean
cloth
or
rag to
wi
pe
off any

ema
ining excess lubr
icant.
